Wine Country Lodging
Something For Everyone
Visitors
to the Wine Country enjoy a wide variety of lodging choices
from B&Bs to chain hotels and motels. There is something
for everyone's taste and budget. Amenities at finer inns may
include swimming pools, saunas, wine tasting, private
balconies, and more. Visitors can choose to stay in-town, out
in vineyards, or along the coast. Breakfasts are often included
and provide real gourmet fare. Because of the popularity of the
Wine Country, visitors should plan ahead and make reservations
as soon as possible. People looking for a bargain should check
out mid-week and off-season specials.
Lodging Tips
- Reservations: Make reservations several weeks in advance. Popular inns and hotels fill up quickly, especially for weekend stays.
- Rates: High season has typically been from April through November but many locations are now busy year-round. It is still possible to find discounts for mid-week stays and off-season months at some locations.
- Minimum Stays: Many Inns and B&Bs will require a minimum 2-night stay on weekends.
