Walking Tour Downtown Healdsburg
Kendall-Jackson Healdsburg is located near the northwest corner of Healdsburg Plaza. Visitors are often surprised and delighted to find this second and more intimate location. The Healdsburg Tasting Room offers a complete range of Kendall-Jackson wines including Grand Reserve, Highland Estates, and Stature designations. Lake Sonoma Winery has opened a new tasting room right off the square. Lake Sonoma produces premium, vineyard specific wines: Zinfandels and Fume Blanc from Dry Creek Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley and Chardonnay from Russian River Valley. Gallo of Sonoma is located right on the square and offers flights of wines served in a comfortable atmosphere. Varietals include chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Port. Try them all as Gallo of Sonoma excels across the board. Mayo Family Winery has opened a new reserve tasting room in downtown Healdsburg that combines comfortable seating, a chef, and service to create a unique wine tasting experience. Visitors enjoy a 7-course tasting menu expertly paired with Mayo Family Reserve Wines for just $20. Toad Hollow states that their mission is to produce quality wines that are interesting at a reasonable price. Labels are whimsical drawings of Toads and other creatures. Varietals include Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir. They also import several sparkling and still wines from France. Located just one block north of the plaza. The East Bay winery has a beautiful tasting room in the heart of the wine country. Offering over a dozen different varietals, Rosenblum is best known for creating powerful Zinfandels and Syrahs.
